About the Author

Michael Bryant is the owner of Adaptrade Software. He holds a BS degree in engineering from the University of Connecticut (1984) and MS (1985) and PhD (1989) degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a minor in computer science. After working in the aerospace industry in the field of spacecraft design for three years, he held faculty positions for 11 years in the departments of Ophthalmology and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southern California. Dr. Bryant has been trading and studying the futures markets since 1994 and has published articles in engineering and scientific journals, as well as in Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities. In addition to Adaptrade Software, he also operates Breakout Futures (http://www.BreakoutFutures.com/), which offers trading systems for futures traders.
