Version 3 includes full portfolio analysis and optimization capabilities. The user is able to create portfolios combining market systems of stocks and futures with position sizing set individually for each market system and optimized both individually and for the overall portfolio. Also in version 3 are more detailed performance analyses, including period-returns (annual, monthly, etc.) and correlation analysis. Support for non-US currency is included, and data formats are backwards compatible with versions 1 and 2.

The following window consists of three market-system (.msa) files and one portfolio (.msp) file. Multiple windows can be opened and worked on simultaneously in MSA v3.

The portfolio equity curve shown below is plotted versus date/time in MSA 3. Equity curves can be plotted versus date/time or trade number.

In MSA 3, portfolios consist of collections of market-system (.msa) files, which are also created in MSA 3. As shown below, you can select any number of MSA files to construct your portfolio. The position sizing method can be set individually for each market system.
